You Are A Treasure

I just loved Diva Laurie's sketch in July so took the opportunity to use it for one of my Guest Diva cards.  I also took a bit of a walk on the "Diva Andrea" side :)  She regularly incorporates flowers on her cards and they always look amazing so I thought I would give it a whirl.

A while back I won some gorgeous Prima flowers along with some fabulous ribbon on Sharon Johnson's (No Time To Stamp) Stamp Simply Blog Hop, and this gorgeous one was calling my name.  I added some punched Martha Stewart leaves and some flower "thingies" I got from the dollar store (have NO clue what they are called...can anyone enlighten me?!).  A crimped version of Verve's Jotted Heart die and a touch of lace all on some Recollections DP run through with a Labels 16 nestie and I was thrilled with the outcome.  I also pulled out my long neglected Weathered background stamp from Stampin' Up! to give the blush blossom panel a little something.  Finished things off with the Martha Stewart border punch and monarch butterfly punch.  The outcome made me smile and I hope you like it too :)

We are focused on back to school shopping this week as well as catching up with a few friends we don't get to see that often when school is in so things are still busy.  The best news is the water main repairs are all done and now all we have to do is get a concrete guy in to put our driveway back together where they dug it up to get to the water main.  Soooooo glad to have that over and done with and it is such a treat to be able to deal with a company that does such a good job, despite all the set backs.  I'd recommend them to anyone!

Know that you are all a treasure to me and I so appreciate all your wonderful comments, support and encouragement (((hugs))).  Have a great day : )

Glad things have improved on the home improvement front!

I thought this card looked a bit of Andrea's style, before I read the description. You've done a beautiful job making it your own, though, and that flower grabbed my attention immediately, too. Well done, you! :)

Ohhh lala! I love this soft combination of colors and punches. The nesties are perfect and I always love that edge and always say I'm going to buy it. I really have to =) Your thingies....well, they're just that in my books...thingies. ;)

Glad to hear the driveway will soon be back to normal! Onward & upward with back to school shopping!

A sprinkle here, a sprinkle there, everywhere a sprinkle, sprinkle...Diva dust that is! I see that you've embraced the flower embellishments...there's no going back now! Your card is an absolute delight, the flower, the pearl stamens (that's what I call them anyway), the sweet corrugated heart...all in perfect combination....Marisa Style! I adore it! My little eye also spies that punched border at the bottom...pearlized, no less...a beautiful addition to an already beautiful card! YOU are a treasure! ♥

such a beautiful card!! LOVE all the soft colours and sweet embellishments. Yay, for having the water problems fixed...hey, my guy is the concrete guy you need!! His brother owns the biggest concrete company in town...I know, doesn't help when you live so far away. Needless to say, we will have beautiful concrete patios and driveway one day...I guess that's one way to look at it...you'll get a nice new driveway :) Just trying to be positive :) Have fun visiting and shopping!
