I must admit these colours were a bit intimidating when I first saw them together, guess that's why they call it a challenge LOL! The are a stong combination so I thought they would make a fun, funky card.
I pulled out a stamp I got at my LSS over a year ago because I just loved this funky little bird. Sorry about the sad colouring job....had to use Twinkling H2Os....some day I will own some Copics!! I embossed the coloured panels with my Seeing Spots embossing folder to give some texture to the card and finished it off with some black satin ribbon and half pearls. The crooked "I" in the sentiment drives me nuts, but it is that way on the stamp. Guess I could have cut the stamp and straightened it out, but didn't think of that until after I was done - Murphy's Law.

Monday brings week two of swimming lessons for the kids and more lap swimming for me. Now that my body has adjusted to the shock of swimming laps for 45 minutes a day, I am really quite enjoying it. It's a great way to keep floppy chicken arms away so they don't flap in the breeze when you wave to someone! Oh the joys of aging....not LOL!
