Color Dare 94
Pretty in Pink
Pear Pizzazz
Perfect Plum
Tripped across this There She Goes sketch and decided to use it for this week's color challenge. Loved the breath of spring these colours brought to the gloomy, rainy, wet days we've been having here for much longer than is healthy LOL!
I pulled out one of my favorite Stampin' Up sets, Vintage Vogue. I just love this set, and haven't used it in a while, so it was time to ink it up again :) Snuck in some Swiss Dots, used my lacey Nesties (still totally loving them), added some scallops, some ruffled ribbon and called it a card.
The rest of the Team has lots of inspiration for you. You can check out their creations here:
- Glenda Wyatt at Paper, Scissors, Rocks
- Heater Prince at Princess Scrapper Stamper
- Joan Jeffery at JJ's Creations

We'd love you to join us! Simply create a card using this week's colours and add your card to InLinkz on the The Colour Dare Blog. If you are uploading to a public gallery, please make sure to use the keyword CD94. Each week, Riley will select a Featured Stamper and showcase your card on her blog.

Simply gorgeous Marisa! What a great design :)!!! Hugs ~S~
ReplyDeleteLook at all those lovely scallops! I'm not so sure about these colors, but I love the way you combined them with lots of white for a fresh look. The pearls in the corner are perfectly sweet!
ReplyDeleteVERY PRETTY card!! Love the colors and the ruffled pink ribbon!!! Not to mention the reaaly pretty flower and scalloped edges!! All fits together beautifully!!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty colors, and you've used them so brilliantly, Marisa! Thanks for the eye candy this morning--your wonderful card AND that glimpse of emerald green grass out your window. We are expecting another 8-12 inches of snow tonight (on top of the 18" we already have on the ground, frozen solid). This white stuff isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It will be months before we see grass again!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Marisa. You've used the colors beautifully...and I'm just a tad jealous of all that green grass I see. Do you know how much snow we have?! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Marisa. Great use of that sketch. Love the way you did with ribbon and all the details. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as usual girlie! LOVE these colors together and the ruffled ribbon is the perfect touch!
ReplyDeletesuch a pretty colour combination...love those flowers layered together and the gathered ribbon...oh, it makes me feel Spring is just around the corner :)
ReplyDeleteSwiss dots, eh? This must be your fave ef! LOL I love Vintage Vogue too, and you've put it to good use here. SUch a pretty card.
ReplyDeleteThis truly is a breath of fresh air, Marisa. Love these sweet colors and images. The whole design just says, "Spring!" (..please!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful spring card!! Ready for spring myself- don't believe we have been getting the rain that you have-2 days is enough for me!!!! Great use of the colors and love that ruffled ribbon- I have a hard time with that myself- can get it to do it with the red sticky tape but, it always seems to come undone later!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty feast for the eyes. Swiss dots? Pam will have something to say about that. LOL I'm still lovin' the scrunchy ribbon.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful, girl. Love the ruffled up ribbon!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the colors!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card, Marisa! Love the fab ruffled ribbon!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card for this week's Dare. I love those little purple pearls in the corner too.
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous Marisa! Great use of the sketch and lovely pastel-y colors! Makes me wish, in the middle of an Eastern U.S. snowstorm, that Spring was just around the corner! I can almost see it through the massive snowflakes and freezing rain...ahhh...
