Mojo Monday 191

This week's Mojo Monday sketch lead me to my Coctco DP pack and I came across this striped DP which made me walk on the bold and bright side for a change LOL!

I just love this Mother Theresa quote as well as the flower image in this set, so jumped at the chance to use them.  Turquoise became my accent colour (love it against the red) and I just "had" to use my newest addiction again...sorry....!! Going to have to hide this Martha Stewart butterfly punch!

We actually have sunshine today and it is simply beautiful out!!  The only downside....having to mow and trim the lawn - drat!!  Wishing you a fabulous day with no lawn mowing and some stamping time instead :)

What's In It?
Stamps: (Verve) Kind Words
Paper: Costco DP, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Black
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Black
Accessories:  Crimper, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch, Distressing Tool, Half Pearls, Dimensionals

  2. What a great color combo, Marisa...and I love how you stamped the flowers as a silhouette against that lovely sentiment. Beautiful all around!

  3. I will try not to be jealous that you are finally seeing the sun, and instead tell you how fabby your card is! This is such a wonderful quote, and I love the flowers you added behind it. And you can use that butterfly punch on every card as far as I'm concerned. Love it!

The weather has been so rainy this season and so cool. I want sunshine and warmth....lots of warmth.

  5. There will be NO lawn mowing here--we're still dripping wet!! With no end in sight for the rain. Sigh. Well, I hope you can enjoy the sunshine while you are out there mowing and trimming today, Marisa. We will be slogging around in our wellies again today.

Beautiful interpretation of the sketch and lovely colors. That quote is lovely!

Well, off to find a hot cup of tea to warm up with . . .

  10. Love the overstamping of the sweet flowers over that awesome quote! Speaking of mowing...my DH and son are outside mowing right now. All the rain is making the grass grow by leaps and bounds...but it looks like velvet when it's mowed!
