June Papertrey Blog Hop Challenge





Welcome to PTI's July Blog Hop.  This month's hop challenge was to use this inspiration picture.  I loved the ribbons of colour and the baby theme so that is what I went with.

I used a Clean and Simple layout as it had three horizontal bands of colour in the sketch.  This fun polka dotted Echo Park paper was a perfect match as I was able to pull in the colours of the dresses on the hooks and the green giraffe from the colour at the top of the wall.  Needless to say, there are a lot of dots on this card!

The giraffe needed a little something so I added a twine bow to his neck and finished things off by using Dawn's wonderful Signature Greetings baby sentiment.

    Oh my goodness, this is so sweet! I love the polka dotted color blocks! The little bow around the giraffe's neck and the tiny pearls on his head are such perfect finishing touches. What a great take on the photo!
