Another great sketch by Keesh for us to work with this week, and in all honesty, I don't feel like I gave it justice with this card. May have to give it another go before the week is over.
It's a pretty basic card, and the good part is it got assembled from my container of "scraps". Try to remind myself to delve into this container more often as the ingoing exceeds the outgoing about 20 to1, or more...
Enough of my woes! The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous cards for your inspiration.

Just a reminder that each week Keesh will select a winner and an honorable mention and post their cards on the Inkspirations Challenge blog. We'd love to see your card posted as a winner, all you have to do is play along.

ReplyDeleteMarisa, this is beautiful! Can't believe you created it from your scraps! WTG!!
ReplyDeleteSweet card Marisa & great use of goodies from your "scrap" collection. (Funny how it accumulates in such quanitities...)
ReplyDeleteSnap, we both used a butterfly for the little circle in the sketch! :)
Ahhh...polka dots and lattice embossing...2 of my fave elements! Very pretty and love the happy colors! T & I are mainly going to meet up with Barb Anders & Tammy Hershberger for lunch and then we'll hit a Hobby Lobby afterward. The town we're meeting in is pretty rural and doesn't have many scrapbooking/stamping options for shopping. :-)
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous Marisa!! ...as always. xxx
ReplyDeleteI am positively drooling over that doily die, Marisa!!! {swoon}
ReplyDeleteWonderful sketch and you did it so pretty! Love the polka dots and that sweet doily die.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! Lots of circles, in the form of pearls, dotted paper, die cuts...great attention to detail. :) Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeletePerfect sentiment for this joyful card. I so love the gathered ribbon treatment.
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty for sure! Love the embossed panel.
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you, without reading any of your commentary, you have a way with colors! I know you say you don't, but the cards don't lie! I love this combo and the way you've executed it...simply lovely with the addition of the texture too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Marissa! That ruffled ribbon is yummy!

again my wish list is growing!! the doily die is amazing, love the embossing and of course the scrunched ribbon!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis one just made me go Awwww. I think it is the lacey doily die cut with the pretty rhinestone accented butterfly that did it. This is so very sweet. Awesome work.
