Christmas Joy

This week's Mojo Monday round or square card lead me to the square sketch.  As much as I love round cards, I just couldn't get it to work.  Will have to give it a try it another day to see if I have more success.

Since I still had this Heidi Grace paper out from yesterday's card, I decided to use it again and make sure the final outcome was indeed a Christmas card LOL!

I used clear embossing powder on the ornament to make it a nice, dark navy (though it looks more on the black side in the picture!) and added some white half pearls and a red bow to bring it out a bit.  This gorgeous curvy bookplate die from Verve was calling my name as it fit perfectly.  Had to use "joy" for the sentiment as Christmas brings me great joy each and every year :)

What's In It?
Stamps: Contempo Christmas (SU), Glad Tidings (Verve), Amuse
Paper: Heidi Grace DP, Real Red, Turquoise, Night of Navy
Ink: Black, VersaMark
Accessories:  Circle Nesties, Snowflake Embossing Folder, Ornament Punch (SU), Curvy Bookplate Die (Verve), Marvy Snowflake Punch, Red Twine, White and Black Half Pearls,  Bling, Dimensionals

  10. Love it! Beautiful colors and fabulous texture! The design looks awesome and although I adore that sweet (googly eye) owl card, I think these papers are better suited for a Christmas card. Great job!
