You Make Me Smile
Diva Charmaine came up with a great sketch and I once again delved into my new Recollections Garden Floral paper pack, which I got at Michael's over Spring Break with a 50% off coupon - score! Loved the navy with yellow and orange - such a striking combination.
Since there was a nice big circle and I haven't used my "U" die recently, out it came. It looks striped but in actuality it is just crimped. The sentiment is a partial - I just didn't ink the "you" word. Not quite brave enough to cut my acrylic stamps yet LOL!
That wraps up the Verve sketches for March :) I can't believe there hasn't been a skewed panel on a sketch yet...shhhhhh.....!!! I'm grinning from ear to ear, but I'm sure that will change soon enough :( So, until them, I'm gleefully enjoying the sketches and all Divas have made it back into my good books LOL!
Have a fabulous day!
What's In It?

I love this....a fun mix of colors and patterns! You should GO for cutting your stamps....a wonderful idea! I haven't regretted it at all. Just start with one you don't use very often!!! Then if you decide you don't like it, you haven't spoiled any favs!!
ReplyDeleteAnother great card, Marisa. . .just my style!
ReplyDeleteFab job with the sketch! Pretty dp~
ReplyDeleteNo skewed panels...I know, isn't it amazing?! I love your crimped "u". :)
ReplyDeleteU make the best designs with that awesome U diecut, Marisa!! This is fabulous--it makes me smile ;)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Marisa! But isn't there one more March sketch? You're not out of the woods with the skewed panels yet! ; )

that U does looked striped...cool! I think with a little more coaxing, you'll be able to snip a stamp!! The first one is always the hardest....however, you were able to ink this up perfectly...I'm not so accurate so then I bring out the big guns, er scissors! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOVE this Marisa! Fab colors and I LOVE that u!
ReplyDeleteYou make me giggle with your skewed panel dislike! Glad these sketches didn't have any to make you sweat!
