Tall and Skinny Sketch Oops

Mojo 360 / VRAug14 photo VRAug14picB.jpg

This card is the card I had originally made for the last Tall and Skinny sketch over on the Mojo Monday blog.  Got it all done and photographed before it dawned on me that it was not a tall and skinny card - doh!!!  Was that kind of a week.  Bonus:  Had another card to post on my blog LOL!

I used Verve's new Cupcake set released this past weekend and some rather bright paper which is not my norm.  Some silver pearls around the oval dressed it up a bit and finished it off with a double sentiment and some bling on the bow.

Thanks for popping by today!

What's In It?
Stamps:   Cupcake (Verve Stamps), By Definition (Stampin' Up)
Paper:   Lime Twist (My Mind's Eye)
Ink:  Black, Night of Navy, Certainly Celery (Stampin' Up)

Accessories:   Flag It Die Set (A Cut Above by Verve), Lacy Oval and Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Scalloped Border Punch (Stampin' Up), 5/8" Pink Satin Ribbon, Silver Half Pearls, Bling, Glue Dot, Dimensionals

  2. Well I LOVE that paper Marisa. Combined with the gorgeous pink of the bow and wine coloured mat, I reckon this is just about perfect! xxx

  4. It's a very pretty card, Marisa. Love the bling on that pretty ribbon.
Funny about your tall and skinny. A couple of weeks ago I posted a card on SCS that I had not even finished coloring...down it came, finished it and posted again. Duh!

  5. Ooops happens!! And I love what you got out of it. The paper is great even if not your norm! It is cheerful, but not in-your-face bright. Such a happy card!

  11. Tall & skinny, or just plain average-sized, the card is delightful! :) Love that loopy oval die with the bling.
