This sketch was perfect for a birthday card I needed this past weekend. With spring in the air, I went with polka dots, flowers and butterflies - three of my favorites :)
The sentiment is from Simply Amazing along with the corresponding Amazing Adjectives Word Die Set. These two sets are so much fun to use together as there are lots of great sentiment combinations you can create.
All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples. Should you wish more details on the Mojo Maker's cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.
Weekend was a blur - actually 2016 has been a blur and I am very much looking forward to the summer when life slows down a bit!! A truly crazy, busy year it has been! Thankfully, the days are getting longer, and spring with all its new growth, blooming flowers and added sunshine always energizes and brings me joy :) Hanging moss baskets are now up and I can't wait to plant my annuals - a month to go before I can do so, but it is getting close - whoo hoo!!!
Wishing you a blessed day and thanks for popping in today!

Oh, Marisa, this is gorgeous, and I especially LOVE this DP you've used! The colors are wonderful and work so well with this sketch. Love how the red butterfly pulls out the red flowers. And what a fabulous sentiment with the word die. Love it! Hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Marisa! Love that pop of red.
ReplyDeleteYour patterns are gorgeous Marisa! Love the sketch too, fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteMarisa, lovely job on this one. Those 2 patterns came together so beautifully, and I love the top on a lot! I'm not sure about doing this sketch, I have a hard time being creative with so much going on, but I see Mary (my upline) used candles. That was creative.
ReplyDeleteI always look at yours, you do such nice work.
Marissa! Remember me?! March was a blur and that, followed by two weeks of Spring Break (so fabulous!) and a whirlwind of a back-to-work week, sees me, yet again, falling behind in lavishing praise on your gorgeous cards. You know I adore them all! Sounds like you've been busy too; hopefully, we'll both have some 'take-a-breath' time. Your card here: another WOW! The flowers are so sweet and the wee butterfly captures my heart...Thanks for sticking with; your comments and understanding warm my heart!
ReplyDeleteHugs and love,

So pretty. Love the colors and the papers. TFS
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card. That 2nd bit of white for the backing of the background pattern makes all the difference - I need to try that.
ReplyDeleteThis card really pops and I had to come tell you how much I love it! Hope you and the family are doing well!
ReplyDeleteMarisa
