Today's post is the perfect combination: a Mojo Monday sketch combined with the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. Julee created a free digi set in honor of the hop called Rise and Shine, and it is available at the Verve Store until April 17th. She is also running a contest with cards created with the set over on the Verve blog so check it out! A great way to win some free Verve!
Verve has some fabulous coffee sets, and I chose to use Get Together and the Coffee word die for my card. Paired them with some wonderful papers and some grosgrain ribbon - remember that stuff {grin}. Still love using it and since the sketch called for some, I was all over it. A paper pieced latte cup with a heart on the sleeve finished things off.
All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples. Should you wish more details on the Mojo Maker's cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.
My son reffed three games a day at a provincial soccer tournament all last week and had four games over the weekend, which means we are all pretty soccered out! He did an amazing job despite the weather not being the best (thankful it didn't rain every day), and he made close to $700 last week! Not bad for a 16 year old kid. Told him I am going to start charging him mileage LOL!
Have a fabulous week everyone!

ReplyDeleteMarisa, what a gorgeous coffee card, and I love the rich DP and beautiful grosgrain ribbon (I still have a lot of that...hehe!). Beautifully done! Wow, how exciting that your son is making great money refereeing soccer games. Yes, perhaps you should charge him mileage...but it's best he learns the value of money and hopefully is saving it for his education after high school. Hugs, sweet friend! (Trying to get back into the swing of things.)
