CAS-tastic Sketch Challenge
I'm not sure which blog I tripped across this sketch on, but I just loved it so I decided to play along with this week's Cas-tastic Sketch challenge. The horizontal panel made met think of Wild About You right away because this gator/croc is a horizontal image and I don't have too many of them for some reason (hmmmm.... may have to change that LOL!). I just LOVE this set and will never part with it because the images are too stinkin' cute and you can use it for so many occasions: baby cards, anniversary, love, young boy and girl birthday cards etc.
Since our anniversary came and went without my having made a card for my hubby (yes, I'm hanging my head in shame!!), I decided to make up for it by giving him this one to remind him of just how special he is. I had to wait a long time for him as I married in my mid 30's, but he was well worth the wait :)
The ribbon is one of my favorite finds from my ribbon bin diving adventures at Michael's and was my inspiration for the colours on this card. I used my go to "masculine" Martha Steward punch and it was a perfect match to the "ric-racs" on the gators back. I added a little "grass" to ground my gator, coloured his pupils black so his eyes stick out a bit more, and called it a card.
Give someone you love a hug or a call today and tell them how much you care. It is medicine for the soul :) Hope to be back soon.
What's In It?
Stamps: Wild About You (SU)
Paper: Wild Wassabi, Chocolate Chip, Kraft
