Curtain Call Act 39

I had to sit and stare at this inspiration picture and just "....sigh....." for a while when I first saw it!  Just LOVE the greens and the touch of kraft - a perfect colour combo for me.

I immediately thought of leaves when I saw the colours and yet again wished I had PTI's Turning a New Leaf set!!  Have you ever noticed that whenever you reeeeally want a set, some paper, accessory, Nestie etc. it seems to be on every blog you visit!  Nothing like reminders of how much you want it and the fact that you don't have it!  Think I'm beginning to turn a shade of Wild Wasabi when it comes to this set LOL!

Sorry, I regressed....on to the card.  I decided to use this week's SCS sketch and my new Studio G leaf stamp.  I just love this cute little leaf -- and the price was right too!  I stamped it in celery and garden green (don't have wasabi ink yet), crimped the horizontal strip, added some raffia, and created a dotted.  Another CAS card, but I love the clean crisp feel to it.
The rest of the Curtain Call Crew have some samples for your inspiration and over the summer we will be having a new guest designer every month!
And, our July Guest Designer, Silke Ledlow at My Life

We'd love it if you joined us too!!  Simply create a card using this week's colours and add your card to Mr. Linky on Stacey's blog.  If  you are uploading to a public gallery, please make sure to use the keyword Curtain Call 39.  Each week, Stacey will select one person to receive her "I Got The Lead At The Curtain Call"  Award as well as five people to receive her "I'm A Top 5 Curtain Call Show Stopper" Award which you can post on your blog, so come on over and join the fun!

I'm off to a LSS garage sale today with the hopes of selling some of my unloved stamping supplies.  If all goes well, I will be able to treat myself to that PTI leaf set I was just talking about!!!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day (((hugs))).

  19. Who doesn't love green with kraft?! Such a great color combo!! Lovely job with the challenges!

I see you survived VBS for another year! I always love helping with VBS when I can. Crazy kids = a crazy time (but always worth it!).

I'm up at my parents' house and enjoying the last few peaceful moments before the wedding blitz. Sloughs of people begin arriving tomorrow, with a whole lot more arriving on Thursday and Friday. I'm trying to psych myself up for the long-haul. I'm so looking forward to the wedding, but looking even more forward to it all being over, hehe.

  24. I love it, Marisa - and I can totally relate to the "need-it-but-don't-have-it-and-I-see-it-everywhere" thing...it's so not fair! :) Hope you were able to sell some of your stash!
