Inkspirations Colour Challenge #78

Though I love this colour combo, I must admit it gave me grief.  I sorted through many sketches to see which one would work with these colours and finally settled on this Deconstructed Sketch from a few weeks ago.  I fudged the challenge a bit by adding quite a bit of black, but black is a neutral, right ;)

I found this Moroccan Screen embossing folder at Walmart on clearance so I snapped it up and it fit this week's sketch perfectly.  Still loving my Verve Flutterby die so it got used again and I pulled out my spiral punch for a little something on the side of the focal panel.  This wonderful verse fit perfectly, and I love using it as it always reminds me of who is in control of my life, especially when things seem to be going sideways :)

The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous cards for your inspiration.

  1. So good to have you back, my dear! The sketch looks fabulous...the black accents really set off the panels...I think it was a great addition! Fab catch at Wally world too, I rarely ever go to their scrapbook section...our store's stuff seems to be dwindling in that area.
    Have a fabulous weekend...I know you've got a bunch to do! :)

  16. I love this Marisa, especially since you have used my favourite bible verse. It definitely is great to remind us who is in control, and a great reminder as to just how much God loves us.

I love the embossed background and the added touch of the black. The spiral punch, butterfly and buttons are all the perfect embellishments.

Hope you are enjoying your summer with the kids.
