July 1st was our 15th wedding anniversary and since that is also Canada Day he can never forget it LOL! With a double celebration to enjoy, there is no better symbol to use than a maple leaf! That being said, it was a perfect excuse for me to use this wonderful PTI maple leaf die again :)
An embossed background and a bit of twine fit the bill for his card :) Don't know where the years have gone but I'm glad I have been able to share them with him :) He makes me laugh, challenges me, has a huge heart, is a great cook (score, especially based on the fact I hate to cook LOL!) is a great dad and puts up with my card making addiction. Blessed I am :)

I'm taking a deep breath because our VBS starts on Monday and I am once again the Grade 4/5 group team leader. I have a a great team working under me and I know it will be a fabulous week, albeit tiring . Oh for the days I had endless energy and a quick bounce back LOL! Wow, that is awesome. I just love that nice bold leaf statement on this card. All the embossing makes this magical and the button with the raffia is darling. Just lovely once again my friend!

ReplyDeletewhat a great masculine card for an anniversary :) I'm sure he loved it :) Tony and I spent a lovely day together and then 3 hours last night clearing and cleaning the house!! LOL I had dragged in someone off the lane here who was looking at the unit beside me (which is also for sale)...then we got a call back from their realtor and they want to look at it again today :) Fingers crossed!! We haven't even listed yet! But it shows really well and is nicer than the ones for sale right now :) ACK!! How was camping? Hopefully it didn't rain too much...we got rain today and yesterday, but it cooled things off for packing and storing :)
