To those of you who have been asking, the school's craft fair went pretty well. A little more advertising would have gone a long way as traffic was a bit slow at times, but seeing it is the first time the school has done one and they had over 40 vendors, they did a great job. However, they are dangerous places to sit at for five hours as you can end up spending more money than you make LOL! I'm pleased to say, I restrained myself to one pendant necklace which I just love and I can't wait to wear :)
Thanks for popping in today and I am so looking forward to being able to create again rather than mass produce!! Have a fabulous day :)
I loved this colour combo of purple and brown. Such wonderfully rich colours and they work very well together. I used cream as my neutral and paired it with this week's 2 Sketches 4 You tag sketch. This is such a wonderful sketch I know I'll be using it for more tags - the possibilities are endless :)
Keeping in the Christmas mode, I decided to use snowflakes. The brown panel is crimped and I used my Seeing Spots embossing folder for the concord trim on the top and bottom of the tag. If I had some chunky glitter, I would have put that on the snowflakes as well. May have to use my 40% coupon from Mike's to get some thanks to all the enabling bloggers out there LOL!

Great tag! I really like these colors and what I have seen of the team do with them. Might have to give this one a try. Glad it went good at the fair and as you know I can understand. Lots of vendors though, that is always a plus. You had more restraint than I did though. lol
LOVE this tag- colors are wonderful together. The crimping with dots is perfect and love those snowflakes!! Glad the fair went well!!
I kinda cringed when I saw the colors, but you rocked them in this gorgeous tag!
What a BEAUTIFUL tag, Marisa! And I'm so glad the school fair went well. I spent six years exhibiting at a full schedule of craft fairs with my handmade totes and bags and know all of the temptations that come with selling at events like that!! It's hard to make a profit if you spend it all, so I learned quickly to resist. Sounds like you did a super job!!
Your tag is fabulous, Marisa! I love the crimped panel and layered snowflakes-they look great in purple! I have to get to work on some tags myself, so this one's going in my file for later!
Beautiful tag Marisa! Love the way you did with layout and snowflakes. The pruple look so rich and elegant! Well done girl :)
A wonderful tag - it so full of texture!!!
Whoa, that's gorgeous, Marisa! I love purple, and this is so deep and rich. LOVE it.
My tags always look so pitiful but yours...well far from pitiful..simply gorgeous!! AWesome job!
Such a fabulously luxurious tag Marisa! It would have to go on a very special gift so as not to upstage it!! xx
Marisa this is gorgeous!! I love what you did with these fabulous colors!! Your tag is fabulous, tfs!
Love, love, love. The snowflakes are perfect and I love the crimped panel. WOW!
Love your tag Marisa! Love the crimped panel and the big polka dot EF. And your snowflakes are FAB! Great use of this week's colors. :-)
This is so fun and full of texture and dimension. Love it!
I am on the tag bandwagon too...such a nice little canvas to work with :) Love all the texture on this one and the fabulous colours :) Hope things are getting back to normal...I've got to get my sister's cards done by Friday so I can mail them and then start thinking about my cards to send out...trying not to make everything an onorous (sp?) task so I can enjoy the season :)
Such a cute card tfs!!!
Marisa, awesome colors on your tag. Glad the craft fair is over for you and you can settle down a bit. I'm sure the other vendors had so much to tempt you with so you did big just getting the necklace. Enjoy it!
This was where I saw the color challenge and I absolutely loved your tag!! All that texture is fabulous, Marisa =)
Love these colors!! Great tag~
Great tag! I've been on a tag kick lately...not too much space to have to spruce up! Super job with the colors, everything just flows and that snowflake is divine!
fabulous tag Marisa, the colours are stunning together. I love the layered snowflakes! :)
