Back To Verve Flowers

This week's sketch was brought to us by Diva, Amy Scheffer.  It screamed DP with all the panels so I managed to squeeze one piece in LOL :)

I wanted to use this left over flower I had made a few weeks back so that was my starting point.  Lots of dots/polka dots on this card and, yes, I'm back to Verve flowers again - but different ones this time!

I added the blue for a pop of colour and gleefully used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch - happy sigh....!

Spring is still eluding us here on the West Coast.  Still lots of rain, but at least the temperatures have gone up a bit.  Can't wait for summer!!  They say we are supposed to have a warm :)

Have a fabulous day!

This should just be called "back to gorgeous!" =) That flower is delish and the butterfly and polka dots are perfect. BEAUTY of a ribbon choice, too! Love it, Marisa...but it's not my birthday until next year ;)

How pretty! Love the pop of soft blue, especially for the leaves (I should think outside the green-leaves box more often!). The polka dots really tie it all together beautifully!

We're having a miserably rainy week here on the East Coast, too. Here's hoping for warmer days for both of us!

So beautiful, Marisa!! I really like those colors. We had some spring here, but now we've reverted to cold and rainy and so-unlike-May weather!! Still have the heat on and I'm wearing layers. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

isn't it great when you can use something you made a while ago? I was able to do that twice this week! Although, I try not to save everything...then it gets to be one big mess :( Gorgeous layered flowers and I see you are putting that butterfly punch to good use! It's just the perfect shape and I love all the cut outs :) It's raining men here, I have puddles on a few desks (leaky roof!) and the temperature has gone down!! It's about 7 here right now :(

I love the color palette you used, so soft and sweet. The embossing on the flowers give them extra oomph. Great card!

Another wonderful, beautiful card! Love the butterfly! It's one punch I don't have...think I'm going to have to fix that!

Great choice in adding the blue. It really makes your flower pop. This is beautiful Marisa.. Hope it warms up here too. It is so cold and rainy. They say 90 by the weekend.

There's that fab butterfly again. ;) I'm glad you are enjoying it...it's a beauty of a punch, isn't it? I like your color combo here, and how you incorporated your fave swiss dot EF!
