Mojo Monday 192

This week's Mojo Monday sketch was designed by Mojo Monday Diva Debbie.  My starting point was this piece of paper from my Costco DP pack -- yeah, it continues to dwindle :)

For some reason, I was in the mood for a heart shape.  Easily fixed that by pulling out my Verve Jotted Heart die and stamping the lines in grey and crimping my Labels 8 panel for a bit of texture.

Pink became my accent colour with the butterfly, rose and ribbon.  The top left corner was horribly empty and threw the balance of the card off (IMHO anyway) so I added a leaf to fill in the space.  While posting the picture, I noticed my seriously tragic bow...so....I'm calling it a shabby bow LOL!

We are still under grey and/or rainy skies - ugh!  Spring only has three short weeks to make an appearance before it's officially summer on the calendar, otherwise we can say it never happened.  Upside....I got my planters done last weekend and haven't had to water them yet.  Hopefully summer will cooperate!!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by :)

LOVE those pink accents, Marisa...they really draw the eye! Great take on the sketch!
I got my planters done too, about 2 weeks ago, however, we haven't had rain in about a week and none forcasted for at least the next 4 days. The downside of gorgeously sunny weather? Dragging out the stupid hose to water all of my flowers! (I'm really not THAT ungrateful ;)

Oh, such pretty colors! Marvelous job with the sketch, especially the addition of the leaves to fill out that empty corner. Another beauty!

ok, Blogger is letting me comment again! I wasn't always able to leave comments the last few days :( Love all the texture again and the border punch along the bottom of the card...I keep forgetting to do that! Still cold and rainy here although we had an hour of warm sun yesterday after school. Don't know if I told you but we cancelled the trip on Thurs because it was just miserable out :( Oh, well, I brought a video in for the rescue! LOL

So pretty, Marisa and I really like your bow and the sweet paper flower.
Hubby and I have been in the yard working all day...about 8 hrs. so far. It is HOT and HUMID!! I'm calling it a day except for potting some plants.
