Inkspirations Color Challenge #98

Verve

A wonderful bright pallet chosen by Keesh today and one that had green so I was happy LOL!  I combined it with one of Chupa's older Sketch and Stamp sketches.

With the overload of Christmas cards lately, I thought it would be fun to go in a spring/summer direction this time.  Absolutely LOVE this sentiment and every time I read it I remind myself to speak the kind words I am thinking of and not just leave them in my mind.  I know I sure appreciate a kind word, and in a world that tends to focus on the negatives of life, it is always nice to get some positives to help you along in your day :)

The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous cards for your inspiration.

Just a reminder that each week Keesh will select a winner and an honorable mention and post their cards on the Inkspirations Challenge blog.  We'd love to see your card posted as a winner, all you have to do is play along.

Happy Friday everyone :)

This is wonderful Marisa! The soft print DSP makes the butterfly really pop & the patterned ribbon is sweet. Love the subtle interest the piercing adds to the layout. Beautiful sentiment too. :)

Ah, one of my very favorite sentiments, so very true! I love what you've done with the colors, Marisa...this card reminds me of a beautiful Spring day, with lots of vibrant flowers...and sweet butterflies! Love that paper piercing at the bottom too, what a great effect to have it outline the shaped edge. Fabulous!

Hi Marisa! I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was wonderful! This is one of my favorite word sayings from Verve. I like how you added texture to the butterfly and layered it over the leaves!

Such true words. :) Well, let me leave you a kind word about your card! I am happy you chose to look ahead to spring, by using a pretty yellow butterfly. I don't have nearly the amount of Christmas cards I need, but am tired of them already. LOL It's refreshing to see something other than Xmas. And do I spy Groovy Guava dp??
