July SFYTT

Getting my July SFYTT done early so I don't have to think about it, or even worse, accidentally forget about doing it since it's summer time and we are out and about so much I don't have a consistent stamping time.

I combined the sketch with this week's ColourQ challenge and entered it into this week's Paper and Such Designs challenge.  Since MFT is this month's focus for the sketch, I pulled out their daisy die to make the flower.  Verve's fabulous Kind Words set provided the sentiment and I added an extra layer of white card stock with a punched border for a little more "oomph" and popped it up for some extra dimension.

Off for another day of swimming lessons for the kids and laps in the pool for me.  It's been a great way to jump start my fit and firm at fifty work outs again.  My fasciitis is finally gone (darn thing took six months to heal!) so I'm raring and ready to work out with a vengeance again and the fabulous weather we've been having definitely puts you in a good mood to do so :)

Thanks for popping in today!

Marisa, I know as a subscriber I should comment more often -- like at all -- but I'm a bad subscriber. BUT I LOVE today's card so much! I love it's colors, clean lines, choices of die cuts - everything! thanks so much for sharing your talents through this blog.

I hear ya on not having any consistent stamping time in the summer!!

This color combo is gorgeous, and I think you did a fab job with it, Marisa!!

Glad to hear that your fasciitis is all better. My mom has been dealing with that for a few months and it's giving her fits. I hope that she's on the same schedule as you!

Fabulous textures and awesome take on the color & sketch challenges! Love the shades of blue, too! I'm thinking that blue is a way of life for you lately, with all that pool time. Just make sure to let those pesky old men play through in the fast lane! :)
