Tempting Turquoise
Pear Pizzazz
Tangerine Tango
This wonderful mix of colours Riley has come up with this week made my mind turn to Spring. The bright colours reminded me of flowers and that was all the excuse I needed to make a flower card LOL! Will definitely be looking it often as I watch the snow fall outside! Thankfully, rain is coming tomorrow so it will last just long enough for the kids to enjoy some sledding down the hill at the school.
I paired this week's colours with an old Technostamper sketch as it was perfect for creating a flower scene. Out came my Verve Many Blessings set and to work I went. I stamped an extra flower of each and cut out the middle layer to pop up for some dimension, used some ruffled ribbon for grass, added a few butterflies and half pearls, and voila, my spring flowers emerged :) A wonderful reminder that Spring will come.

Love your stand of grass..very clever. And, those flowers came up and bloomed so pretty. It's a very pretty card, Marisa.
Thanks for the re-visit to my card I cased for you. I have been on blogger for over an hour trying to upload my Stampin B's card, but there are blogger problems. I hear others are having the same problem so I'm glad it is not just me.
LOVE the popped up flowers and the ruffled ribbon! Beautiful Marisa!
How fun the ribbon is as the grass to your colorful flowers.
This is so fun! I love the crisp clean feeling and that color combo is just screaming fun to me. I agree it was perfect for this sketch, thanks so much for using my sketch!
I love your scrunchy ribbon.. It looks so great with this card. I am ready for flowers and singing birds.. Great job..
You're braver than me girl! Colour Challenges freak me out at the best of times, but when they come in these scary colours, I'd be running and hiding, not turning out a beauty like this!! :)
a super sweet and happy card, the flowers make me smile! I love the ruffled ribbon through the middle! :)
Well this is such a bright and happy card. Great idea to give those flowers a little "pop." I'd say you aced this challenge!
