Mojo Out Playing In The Snow

I loved this week's Mojo Monday sketch but think my little old creative gene is having too much fun playing out in the snow and therefore not showing up in the studio.

I think the issue is the DP I used as the pattern is small and there is so much white space on it I should not have used additional white on my card.  I'm blaming my faux pas on snow blindness from all the white stuff we have outside right now - okay....lame excuse....I tried....LOL!

We are freezing our little butts off out here.  -15C with the wind chill and though it may not be as cold as the prairies at -40C with wind chill, we are wimps out here as we don't get these kind of temps very often.  Off to get a nice warm cup of green tea so I can stay warm.

Well, I think that your card looks fabulous, white spaces and all! Love the black gems on the banner panels and the sweet kraft heart! It certainly is nice to get snow every once in a while, it's when it hangs around is when it gets to be a pain. Luckily for us we have been spared so far this year. Last two years we've had at least 18" dumped on us at one time. Now that's nice snowman-making stuff!

I think it looks great! I like the pop of red from the pattern paper!

LOL at you being wimpy.....yep the -40 is a killer. The only nice thing is it doesn't really snow when it's this cold. BUT we are expecting it to be +2 on the weekend!! HEAT WAVE!!

Great embossing folder, Marisa. Your recipe says 'Mat EF'. Is that the brand, or the style? I really, really like it!

I love all that white - especially the embossed white background =)The ribbon is fantastic and that crimped heart is perfect and the sentiment is a great one. I like your snow blindness comment, but completely unnecessary - this card is a beauty!
