Love You Mom
I have another Mother's Day card for you today. A crimped "U" in my cast off box caught my eye so I decided to build a card around it. Nothing better than an excuse to use my favorite PTI flower die as well :)
We had a glorious four day stretch of weather, which was beyond wonderful - spring has definitely sprung! For how long, who knows, but we'll take what we can get LOL!
My son and I went to see the Hunger Games on Saturday and it was fabulously done. The 2.5 hours just flew by and it held very true to the book - something that doesn't happen very often when books go Hollywood. Needless to say, I'm now reading book two of the trilogy LOL!
Thanks for popping by today - always appreciate your company :)

This is so delicate Marisa! LOVE that paper and the 'U' can do no wrong in my eyes! VERY pretty card yet again! xxx
Such a beautiful card!!! So fresh looking! I read the Hunger Games but haven't had the desire yet to see it - good to know it is true to the book :). Keeps my fingers crossed for my hubby today, I am sure I will post on FB later :)
Great card!!! Love those dies you used here! Glad to hear you had a nice weekend!!! Hope your good weather continues!
This is so pretty Marisa. Great for a Mother's Day card. I love the colors you chose and crimping the U makes it stand out. I loved the Hunger Games too. I think you will like the rest of the series. Not as good as the first but well written.
ah, looks like we are both full onto Mother's Day! Tis the season :) Love the pink and browns together and always get excited when someone can use an extra shape :) I liked the movie too although I'm a stickler and want ALL the details of the book in the movie...which might make it a 20 hour long movie! lOL
Very pretty 'Mom' card, Marisa. The dp is so sweet and I love that "U" die you have...looks very useful.
Hope Spring comes and STAYS for you very soon.
Such pretty colors in this card Marisa. Great shape and texture too! My older two have read the trilogy and are longing to see the movie too. :)
Another beautiful card Marisa. Gorgeous colours and layout and such interesting elements.
We had a week of glorious weather at the end of March but I was confined to bed! :(
xx
Pretty in pink! Great layout and just the perfect touches!
Totally gorgeous with the pink and gray! Love the "u"!
Ohhhhh, love how you crimped the U. VERY sweet card, Marisa.
I agree, the 2.5-hour movie FLEW by. They really did do a great job with it. I want to go see the movie again.
I love all those pretty pinks, Marisa! This card is just lovely. Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend. My daughter keeps urging me to read the HG trilogy. I just don't know if I can afford to get hooked right now!!
(Sorry I haven't been able to stop by much recently--real life has been calling, rather LOUDLY, I might add! It was a treat to be able to stop by to see your creations again.)
What a beautiful springtime card for mother's day! I love your dp and the pop of brown against the pinks. "U" really know how to rock that letter and the crimper! Lovely card...glad you're enjoying some beautiful weather up there! ((hugs))
This is too cute! I love that "u". I need that because of you. ;) Such an adorable card!
This is so feminine and pretty, Marisa! Love that floral paper, and you always make the most beautiful blooms with these dies.
Marisa, this one is my fav so far -these are all beautiful though. You could do a book on Mom's day cards!!! Hugz.
I saw the movie with my girls and my mom, when she was here visiting with us. I thought it was great, and haven't even read the book yet. You're right: the time flies by really quickly.
Love how you built your card around the "u" rescued from the basket!
Fabulous mixing of sentiments and dies...they all look perfect together! Beautiful, Spring-y colors and lovely texture. A "Marisa-Style" gorgeous card!
