Inkspirations Color Challnege #50

First of all, I want to wish all my American followers and visitors a Happy Thanksgiving!!  We have long passed ours (it's in October in Canada) but it is always wonderful to reflect on what we have to be thankful for, and that includes all of you who take a little bit of time to come and visit me on my blog :)  Enjoy you time with family and friends and eat some turkey for me LOL!

This week, Keesh came up with a lovely color combination. The razzleberry with the pear pizzaz and the pop of turquoise is totally delicious.

Sorry about the simple card and the use of my "go to crutch" (aka my Swiss Dots embossing folder), but I had to keep things simple this week as I 'm crazy busy trying to finish things up for the craft fair tomorrow.

Pulled out this wonderful Watercolor Trio silhouette set for the main image panel and added some turquoise ribbon for a pop of color.  The inks are actually Eggplant Envy and Certainly Celery as I don't have them just yet, but they worked pretty well :)

The rest of the Inkspirations Team has some wonderful samples to get you creative juices going.

Have a fabulous day, and happy Black Friday shopping to any of you who are willing to brave the crowds!

Your card is beautiful, Marisa; I LOVE how you've used the colours. There should be no apologising for using the Swiss Dots embossing folder; you can never go wrong with polka dots :)

Love this colour combination and how you stamped the images...so soft and pretty. Gorgeous bow and button and who still doesn't love swiss dots? We are balmy here at -3 (-9 windchill) and my car only took 10 minutes to heat up!! We even had wet roads!! Yay!! So is today the big day? Let me know how it goes....I posted my first post through Windows Live Writer and it seemed to work fine...should have no more blogger issues that way...hey! You found out how to do borders around your pictures...what did you do? have a great weekend :)

Gorgeous card, Marisa! I love that flash of turquoise ribbon. I'm a bit of a ribbon freak so it's always the first thing I notice on a card. Have a great week!

I don't see a 'crutch' here! Just a really lovely card with pretty silhouetted flowers. I just popped over to Inkspirations to see what the color palette is this week. I hope I can make a card tomorrow and play there!

And BTW, I wish you lived closer too, so that you and me and Andrea could all go do lunch together!! (((((((Big hugz.)))))))
