CR8ing a Thank You Card 4FN

Just loved this week's CR84FN colours as they are one of my  go to colour combos - happy sigh :)   Not only that, they scream flowers to me and my rubber arm I listened, obeyed and immediately pulled out my Verve flower and leaf dies LOL!

I kept things rather simple so the flowers would do the talking.  This is yet another thank you card for one of my kids' teachers and she strikes me as a CAS type of gal so this should be right up her alley :)

The fabulous sunshine we are finally getting is the perfect compliment to the flowers :)   It is sooooo nice to have some blue skies and warmth!!  Had to laugh because many were commenting on how hot it was outside when it was only 22C (76F) this weekend.  Mind you with our average Spring temps running between 13C - 15C (59F - 62F that makes for a 10C (20F) swing in temperature and that is an adjustment.  Think I can deal with it LOL!

Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me today!  Hope you have some nice weather where you are too :)

Haha...love your clever title! I adore these colors as well, they just scream "Spring!" & "girly!"...two of my favorite card making themes! Super-d-duper Verve-y flowers, love the die cuts and the sa-weet butterflies, too!
Glad you are enjoying the weather, we got a phone call from the school last night saying that today would be a half day due to excessive heat indices. Son was happy...even though his school is A/C'd...daughter's school is not and they have to share the same buses so everyone gets out early!
Enjoy your day, my friend!

Sunshine and flowers AND TALENT?! You're too blessed!!! Love that ribbon and the perfect way you've highlighted those fantastic fleurs, Marisa! Your butterflies are just the right pop of lovely and the card is a sweet example of CAS!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Loving the title of your post--you are too funny! This is so soft and pretty. I just got this stamp set and think it will be seeing a lot of use. The leaves, especially, are fabulous!

these colours look fabulous on the card...it is a very pretty palette :) Love how the sentiment is off to the side and it's perfect for a teacher card ;) We have been enjoying sunny skies too and good thing, because the framers are putting up the walls and floors as we speak. I was just up there and they are working like busy beavers :) I took some pics and will take more this weekend when they're not there. I don't want them to think I'm weird! LOL WHAT'S GOING ON WITH OUR TEAM? ACK!!!!
