Giving Thanks for Color Q

I squealed with joy when I realized this week's ColorQ colours are a perfect match to MME's Blink of an Eye DPs - score!  I was also tickle pink to be able to use this fabulous PTI set which I bought a while back and have not had a chance to ink up yet.  Oh happy day :)  I combined it with a Techno Stamper sketch challenge from a few weeks ago as it had the nice big panel that was perfect for the tree.

Just loooove this design on this paper so I am going on a hunt to see if any of our LSS have it in individual sheets.  Sorry....I regressed.. I don't own the proper ink pads to match the colours so I subbed in with Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, and Pumpkin Pie.

A very straight forward card, and I'm loving the nestie that frames the tree.   I saw someone in blog land put the button at the end of the sentiment by the flag and just loved the look of it so did it on this card.  Balances things of wonderfully.  Played with adding texture behind the tree but none of them seemed to work so I left it blank.  Needless to say, I now have samples of many of my embossing folders LOL!

Kids have a Pro-D Day today so we are going to enjoy some R & R together and just hang out and maybe get a video and have "jammie day".

What's In It?
Stamps:  Falling Leaves (PTI)
Paper: Blink of an Eye (MME)
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust
Accessories:  Labels 8 Nesties, Scalloped Border Punch (SU), Button, Twine (PTI), Glue Dot, Dimensionals

This is a wonderful CAS design, Marisa. The paper is a perfect match for these colors, and I love that the blue button and scalloped border reflect the pattern. Glad you could play along with the ColourQ again this week!

This paper *is* perfect for that color combo challenge, and the tree is just a wonderful image.

I am lovin' your choice of paper too! SO sweet--yummy colors, aren't they?! I don't know what a Pro-D day is, but I hope you & your kiddos have fun! Thanks for playing with us at CQC this week!

Such a cute card, Marisa! I love that little tree. And that dp truly is perfect for the challenge. I love it when that happens. It just makes a card come together all the more quickly. :)

Church was great this morning. Jeff is back, but unfortunately came back ill from Uganda and Zimbabwe, so our executive pastor spoke instead. But it was still a great reminder to get in the word and stay there! lol

It would be amazing to give you a hug in person someday. I've never been to BC, but my best friend has and we've been trying to plan a trip up there together for years now. Someday I'll have to make it happen, along with a little side trip to come give you a hug. :)

oh, I love this set too :) all those falling leaves!! sigh! We saw 2 big piles of leaves on the way up to the house today and I thought of you :) Here's praying for the wind your way...lol. That paper is the perfect match to the colours...love when that happens :) aw, wish we had a pro d...not until Dec. 5th. They time it with the local ski hill that has their free day because most of the high school kids skip to go skiing!! LOL Jammie day sounds fabulous!
