Techno Shamrock

This Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge  from quite a while back intrigued me, so I saved the sketch and am going back to it now.   I needed another St. Patrick's Day card and that circle was screaming shamrock :)

Out came Verve's Lucky You set again - such a fun set!  Stamped and die cut the shamrock and then added the March 17th from a Studio G set I got at Michael's a few years ago.

We are not into our two week Spring Break and have the dentist appointments done.  Huge wind storm down here yesterday!!  Power went out, our BBQ cover learned how to fly across the yard (thankfully the BBQ didn't tip over I've heard some have), one of our recycle boxes has gone AWOL and our garbage can was seven doors down. Usually have these storms in Nov/Dec so it is out of the ordinary to have them this time of year.  Poor Hydro crews are working overtime.  Next up:  tons of rain for five days - ugh!  Needless to say, I'll be doing indoor activities with the kids!

Have a fabulous day and thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me today :)

What's In It?

Fabulous St. Patty's day card!!!!
Sorry you guys are having wind storms. That's a bummer too! We've had some doozies this winter too. Such strange weather! Yucky rain....hope it doesn't last as long as they say :(

Your shamrock card is a real cutie, Marisa. I like that date stamp..very handy.

Hang on! Don't want you to blow away or get soaked in the rains. That really doesn't make for a good Spring break, does it?

Loving all the green and shamrocks!! This is definitely a party card :) We have strong winds up here too...it's amazing how hard it can blow. Here's hoping the weather forecast is wrong :)

I really like this card Marisa. I don't do St. Patrick's Day, so don't get all that involved with it, but your card is so pretty and not a tall OTT, I just had to tell you how much I like it. xxx

Cute St Patties card. We have had horrible wind also. Glad nothing broke though.

Yikes, Marisa! So glad you guys were okay in the wind storms! We had a loud thunderstorm last night, which I was used to in the midwest but is unusual for MA, especially in March!
Love the mix of greens on your card and the way the florals in the paper complement the shamrock and the pretty scalloped borders. The polka dots don't hurt, either! ;)

So glad to hear that YOU didn't blow away with the missing recycling box!!! We had an intense (but mercifully brief) thunderstorm during the middle of the night last night, complete with heavy hail. Woke up everyone in the house! So very odd at this time of year, too.

Love this fantastic St. Patrick's Day card!

Love the hues of greens and how you made the shamrock with button finishing the focus of the card! Awesome!
