Mother's Day JUGS

I loved this JUGS sketch and am coming back to it as I didn't get a chance to play along last week.  Think the round circle was calling my name as it is perfect for adding flowers to (and you know my love/addiction to flowers!).

Sorry about using the PTI flower die again....I'm totally re-addicted to it now that Spring is here and all I can think about is having flowers in my garden again.  I got this cute button die with my PTI order a few months back and just love it!  The ruffled edge adds a nice little something :)

I struggled with which embossing folder to use for the background and finally settled on this brick one.  Not sure it was the right choice as many people tend to associate brick walls with something that is aging, and that is definitely not a message you want to be sending your mother on Mother's Day LOL!

What's In It?
Stamps: Beautiful You (Verve)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Kraft, Certainly Celery, Rose Romance
Ink: Black
Accessories: Flower and Button Dies (PTI), Leaf Die (Sizzix), Scalloped Circle and Circle  Nesties, Brick Embossing Folder (Tim Holtz), 5/8" Saffron Satin Ribbon, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Bling, Black Half Pearls, Dimensionals

I can't wait for flowers in my yard as well!!!!

This is lovely, and goes really well with the brick wall, you need a bit of contrast somewhere, don't you, to stop things getting too sugary?!

oh, I was about to say I love the brick wall! Very old and vintage like a character house with all the pretty flowers :) Getting my summer tires on today :) The last bit of winter gone :)

I like the brick embossing in the background of this, Marisa. It's unexpected with flowers, but works totally beautifully!

Marisa, I'm so far behind on commenting and trying to catch up today.

Your card is beautiful and that ribbon is spectacular. Be careful with that brick wall and the aging thing...hahaha Just kidding, I would not have thought of that and I think it looks great.
