Mojo Monday #378

 photo Mojo378pic.jpg

Hard to believe this is the last Mojo Monday sketch of 2014!  Another fifty two wonderful sketches behind us and the next fifty to on their way!

Adore this sketch, and will be using it again for sure - thanks, Julee!  Banners are so fun to use on cards and a great way to use of scraps.  That being said, I didn't use scraps for my banners but rather a new MME paper pad I  bought for making Valentine's Day cards called Lost and Found Heirloom.  I love making Valentine's day cards because heart shapes have always been a favorite of mine, plus I truly do enjoy showing others I care.  Needless to say, this card was great fun to make!

The sentiments are from Love Notes, the pops of red for colour, and the silver accents for a bit of sparkle and shine.  I'll be giving this to my daughter with a little gift of some sort when I see she needs a little encouragement during her next semester at school which will be very heavy academically.

All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples.  Should you wish more details on the Mojo Maker's cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.

Looking forward to a few more days off later this week and more hanging out with family over New Year's.  Not to mention some much needed down time somewhere in there too!

Have a great day and enjoy the sketch!  I sure did :)

I love your Mojo Monday post! Your creations are just beautiful. Thanks for letting me know about the Season's Greetings blog hop...I will look at the posts. My favorite memory of 2014 well, I have two. My grandson from North Carolina came and stayed a week so I got to spend time with him. He is so cute and active!! We went to the park and had lots of fun building a tent. The second was I won the Archiver's contest!! I was so excited!!

My favorite memory for 2014 was seeing my husband really smile all over his face. He has parkisons and it was the new medicine. Dotty Neuhauser

Your 'long and lean' card is sheer delight; I'm especially smitten with the heart-pair. What a fabulous mom you are to create with for your daughter, to encourage her for the upcoming semester. So sweet...

Love everything about this, Marisa: the pretty pink papers, the hearts next to one another, and the way you've done up the sketch. :)

I love that you make cards in advance to set aside for encouragement. I actually have a stash for my boys, but I always seem to forget that I have cards when they actually need them!!

I love these hearts - more fun than a traditional shape. I can't believe that I don't have them in my stash! Beautiful papers and I love the touch of kraft.
