Wow, you are so generous and so many wonderful bloggers and companies participate in this blog hop. I loved all your year in review posts. Yours cards are all wonderful.
It was a rough and sad year for my family but my favorite memories are times spent with family. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, even though I fell the day before and fractured my right arm. My daughters had to cook Thanksgiving dinner (with my supervision. Ha!) as everyone comes to our house for major holidays.

Marisa, what a very generous giveaway! I love that this giveaway is taking place during the 12 days of Christmas -- so old fashioned! Favorite memory? Favorite book? Believe it or not I'm a rabid reader so choosing one is more difficult than you might think. I've been unemployed so I've been ordering them from the library and one I bought even having read it is Jesus by James Martin, SJ. It's his story of his pilgrimage through the Holy Land -- he's a Catholic priest (the author of course, not Jesus) -- and he writes about what it was like for him to make the pilgrimage and he throws in some theology as well. I bought it because I think it's worth reading again and again; I think different aspects will be meaningful different times I read it. As for memories, my father died in July; July 27, the 43rd anniversary to the day of his own father's death. My dad never got over my mother's death two year's earlier and he suffered mentally as well as physically during those two years. He prayed often for God to take him, he refused the last part of the Last Rites of the Catholic Church -- the healing part of the Sacrament -- he kept trying to distract the priest but I knew what he was doing, his mother had done it, dad would pretend he was confused and the poor priest would try to bring dad back to the prayers. His funeral was a wonderful party with friends from years and years ago -- my adult kids were so surprised and gratified by seeing people from so long ago.
Probably more than you wanted or expected, but there you have it! A book and a memory.
Love, Mary

My favorite memory of 2014 has to be my son's wedding. It was so much fun working with my soon to be DIL getting ready for the shower and wedding. I painted over 50 shower prizes for giveaways and about 130 wine glasses that were used as shower favors. The wine glasses were painted with different size polka dots in the wedding colors with the bride & groom names & wedding date around the bottom of the glass. They were all the rage at the shower. Now we are looking forward to a new grandchild that is sure to be our highlight of 2015. Thank you for all your inspiration you give on your blog which gets us motivated to make cards and craft our art. And thank you for the opportunity to win this most generous giveaway.

My favorite memories are rather bitter sweet ones of my Dad whom I lost a year ago on Jan 1st 2014 minutes into the new year. I have found myself grasping at as many and all the good memories I had to my dad throughout the years. Being miles away when the sudden death happened and not having had a recent visit with him before he past has rather haunted me with massive guilt. So, thank goodness for those good memories to get me through the year. I am hoping that 2015 will be a better year. Happy New Year!

Hi: A fond memory is having my daughter, her husband, and my grandson join us for two weeks in Florida. He was 18 months old at the time and just discovering how to play in the sand. He loved the beach birds too! It was joy watching him.

Thanks for the chance to win and happy crafting in 2015

Happy New Year and thank you for the opportunity to win such wonderful prizes. My favorite memory of 2014 was finding out that my mom would be okay after a hip replacement that had her in pain for quite some time. I also love these hops as they are a great opportunity to win sample products to try in new ways and they are also a way to get to know new crafters and their work. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for a chance to win a prize! My children are ages 10, 9, and 6...and we still have a nightly (almost nightly) tradition of reading aloud before bedtime. We have read through some wonderful chapter books together. It's hard to pick a favorite from 2014...perhaps one we finished recently called Tuesdays at the Castle.

My favorite memory is trying to walk to a coffee shop in Lake Tahoe...I seriously have no concept of distances when reading a map. Needless to say we didn't make it that day. Then we tried to find it riding bikes. Again no luck...only by chance when peddling around the block...the coffee shop! It was definitely a very good coffee!
Thanks for the chance!
Happy New Year!, Debbie!

It is hard to choose a great memory.. But I guess it would be here at the end of 2014... That we both made it through this year, together. That is what matters the most. Happy New Year to you.

I have looked around and love what I see, so I subscribed. It's been a rough couple of years for my family. I guess my best memory this past year, was when the doctor told my 25 year old son that he could take off his life vest because his heart was working so much better. Prayers answered. God is good. Thank you so much for sharing.

Do scrapbooks count as books? If so, my most recent scrapbook is definitely my favorite. If not, I'd have to think about the love/hate relationship I have with the kid's book "The Giving Tree." It always makes me cry, but I love it anyway.
