Baroque Verve
For some reason, when I saw this sketch I thought of Baroque Motifs...not sure why, but glad I did as I like the final outcome LOL! This is my second card of five for the Verve Release challenge sketches, and a step towards my endless quest of hopefully winning some more Verve (even though I didn't use any on this card!!)
As you can see, the circle became a heart and I used the flourish from Baroque Motifs to fill in the background panel. Love black and white cards with a pop of colour so I'm a happy camper with this card :) The little row of bling under the sentiment was to added for that little something on the card. Now I just need a wedding to go to!
Still very hot and humid here today - ugh - and my hair is living proof LOL! Glad the kids are in swimming lessons again so we can at least cool of for a portion of the day. I'll even put up with the "eau de chlorine" smell a second time round! Back with my next card as soon as I can get it done.
Thanks for popping in and a have a fabulous week!

Looks beautiful with Baroque Motifs! So classic and elegant Marisa!
Very pretty! Love the heart with the rhinestones, so neat!
So elegant and beautiful!!! Nothing says elegance better than black and white, especially with the silver added.
how pretty, Marisa! Love the beautiful colour combo!
Classy! This baroque is one of my SU fav, haven't used it in awhile! Classy job!
so beautiful and sweet, Marisa :) You know I love me some bling :) You might just need to crash a wedding and give them this fab card :) We are having the heat back too...although we've got A/C. Are you enjoying the sneak peeks?
Excellent use of the flourish!!
Elegantly gorgeous, Marisa! I love that neutral color scheme, adds to the classiness of your card. I would be darn proud of this card as well!
And I feel your pain with the humid weather/nothing you can do with curly hair situation. Mine is just long enough to slick back into a bun which I've worn now for the past 2 months. Why bother, right?
I bet your kids love when you smell like chlorine - means fun times were had by all =) Another beauty with these sketches...but you always are a fierce competitor in the Verve challenges!
Sooooooo Elegant!!! What a STUNNING card!!!
