When I first saw this bright colour combination for this week, my first thought was: "Darn, I used Cheep Talk last week" LOL! Being low on energy after a week of swimming laps didn't help much either. However, despite my reeking of chlorine, having a high fatigue factor, and basically no mojo, I pressed on :)
Just loved Mercy's sketch this week so I was bound and determined to use it. After much fiddling around with what to put in the circle, I opted to make a flower (I know, surprise, surprise LOL!). Out came the punches and voila, a flower was born. I Swiss Dotted the center of the flower as well as the white panel and in a stroke of genius (well, in my mind it was anyway LOL!) I used the leaves from Best Blossoms on the turquoise panel (it really is turquoise, the photo changed it on me!!) so they looked like they were coming out of the flower. Some yellow ribbon and white half pearls finished things off nicely.

Wow, Marisa, you rocked these bright colors! What a fun combination of punched and layered flowers, and the subtle stamped leaves behind are perfect. Love the swiss dots, too!
Ooooooh I love this - the white space really sets off the bright colors beautifully!
Great card Marisa! Great use of the colors and the sketch!
wow!!! bright colours!!!!! I find it hard to work with just the primary colours (and they remind me of school) but this is fabulous...great use of them...love the embossing. At first I thought the leaves were from turning a new leaf...but no...need to see some PTI from you :) I've been having fun with my just the ticket stamps and die :)

What a fun and cheerful card! More bright colors...maybe a good night's sleep will revive me and I'll tackle the challenge in the morning.
That's a bright, happy card! I don't know why, but when I first saw the flower on the left, I thought I saw strawberries! Must be that poppy red peeking out in a certain shape behind the other flowers. Nice job on the sketch too!
This turned out beautifully, Marisa! You always have the right punch flowers...and what a gorgeous background....swiss dots?! =) LOVELY!
Great layers, Marisa! Your flower is really spectacular! And the floral stem inked behind works really well! Great use of the colors girl!

Super card, Marisa, if I had seen these colors I would've run the other way but you did a splendid job with them! Love the clean lines, the elegantly embossed background and the fabulous pieced shape. Way to go!
