Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #75

First of all, a huge thank you to all of you for you wonderful words of encouragement and congratulations yesterday (((hugs))).  Still a bit star struck about it all :)

Today will be a day of happy tears....my daughter's Grade 7 grad occurs this morning.  She looks amazing in her grad dress (I'll post some pictures this weekend) and it feels like yesterday that she started Kindergarten at her school.  She is a strong candidate for the citizenship award and it would do wonders for her confidence and affirm her giving and helpful nature  if she got it (and I would be one proud, crying mama LOL!).

It's hard to believe it will be on to high school next year....she isn't big on going to high school as she is shy and introverted, but I'm sure she will do just fine once she is there for a week or two and gets the lay of the land.  My baby is growing up.....

Sorry, I regressed.... Loved the sketch Keesh came up with this week.  So many wonderful possibilities.  I kept things rather simple as I wanted to focus on this fabulous Verve sentiment.  It is such a flexible sentiment. It was the perfect fit for a graduation card to accompany the little necklace and earring set we got her.  Better run as I'm getting sentimental just typing this and my make up is taking a beating before I even get out the door LOL!

The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous cards for your inspiration.

Thanks for stopping bye today.  I"m off to the school with my box of Kleenex LOL!

This is beautiful Marisa...I love the sheer (literally and figuratively) elegance! That black ribbon looks amazing, especially accented with the yellow rose.
Congratulations to your daughter...I know the feeling of them growing up so fast...my son just finished 7th grade as well, but doesn't start high school until after 8th grade. So, I'll be shedding my tears next year! Have a wonderful weekend...off to see Colleen and Vicki Dutcher this weekend in Atlantic City...looking so forward to it! Hopefully I'll have pics to post Sunday!

This is so beautiful and extremely elegant Marisa. Love the sentiment too. Hope you've had a lovely, 'proud mummy' day. I have one coming up on the 13th of July when my eldest son will graduate from Uni at the age of 31! xx

I'm sure she will love this. It's such a grown up card and I'm sure she is feeling very grown up! When she's not feeling like your baby.

Just beautiful Marisa, so many gorgeous details. I love the roses and that lovely ribbon. And yes, best of all that gorgeous sentiment, what a perfect card for your daughter. I hope the graduation went well and you all had a wonderful night. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Xox

what a special card for your daughter :) You know, I can't even remember Jake's grade 7 year much. Some schools here do something, but it's pretty low key at most. I think they just went on a special trip to Silver Lake :) Just chilling tonight...commenting on cards on the iPad with my zagg keyboard...LOVE it! Hope you all had a great evening and celebration :)

This is lovely, Marisa. I love your little flower details and how you've made the sentiment the most important thing on the card.
