This week's Mojo Monday sketch was designed by Terersa. It's nice and straight forward and the large circle has endless possibilities :)Since I finally own felt in a wonderful array of colours thanks to Michelle's enabling (thanks Michelle), I decided to make my first ever felt flower...love....happy sigh.... :) I know, I know, I'm slow to get on the bandwagon, but now that I'm on it, be forewarned LOL!
I made the card pictured above first but then thought a felt flower should have felt leaves so I swapped out the leaf sprig for some felt leaves (case of beginner felt user??). Below is a picture of the remake. Which do you prefer? (Sorry for the poor quality of the second picture - it's a true testament to the power of good lighting versus not so good lighting!).
This Verve sentiment is one of my favorites. It's a great reminder to not continually focus on what life isn't but rather be thankful for all you have and enjoy what each day has to offer. Wise words to live by :)
Still enjoying glorious weather out here on the West Coast and with a long weekend coming up I can finally get some down time -- and stamping time if all goes well :)

woohoo for felt! You are going to love it! I like both cards! Now it's going to be even more difficult...felt leaves or paper leaves? Burlap or cork or canvas or fabric...it can drive a girl crazy :) The sun needs a little encouragement here, but we should have sunshine too :)

Beautiful, beautiful!! I dunno...like the felt leaves, but those spriggy ones are great, too! Enjoy your w/e and the calmer agenda! We're going to be busy moving some things to the house in Wash. D.C. where our oldest son and DIL bought. Fun.

I like both....with the felt leaves or paper leaves. Felt is a lot of fun....I have to thank Dawn Easton for sending me some in a little care package...otherwise, I wouldn't have bought any yet either. :)
