Mojo Monday #379

Mojo 379 photo Mojo379pic.jpg

It's the first Monday of the New Year and we are kicking off another fabulous year of Mojo Monday sketches!!  Even better, it is the first Monday of the month so that means it is contest week - a perfect way enter for a chance to win some Verve Stamps!

With Christmas over I am giddy at being able to make Valentine's Day cards as I just loooove hearts.  Pulled out the Wavy Hearts die and paired it with my beloved "U" die from the I Heart You die set and added the XOXO sentiment from Love Notes.  The papers are from Teresa Collins' You Are My Happy paper pad which I just adore, and couldn't resist adding a big red bow for a pop of colour.

All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples.  Should you wish more details on the Mojo Maker's cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.

We had a wonderful Christmas with family at our house and spent New Year's in Seattle with more family, so this introvert is enjoying a few, guilt free and very necessary down days before getting back into the grind as I was beginning to twitch from lack of alone time LOL!

Wishing you a great day and looking forward to sharing 2015 with you :)

Hmmm...took me awhile to find your mojo card. There was a Jan. 7 Seasons Giving post up but last time I looked, it is only Jan 5th - lol. Must be those gremlins at work. Anyway...I love this season of hearts and your mojo card is a wonderful mix of happy elements! Love it!

Beautiful card & great design! The pink and grey make the red heart and bow really pop. A little red makes a bolder statement than all red, doesn't it?

I love all your layers of coordinating TC papers! I HAVE to go dig those out! The red bow is a super accent on this one, and that sentiment is darling! :)

I get twitchy too when there are people around all the time!! It was wonderful to send my kids back to school this week and have a quiet house for a few hours!

I SO love your layers on this card. Fabulous patterns topped with one of my favorite Verve dies - that simple "U". The XOXO works beautifully with it.

Your polka-dot wavy heart, big u and Xo strip focal panel has caught my eye, and the papers you've paired it with...oh myyyy! Utterly gorgeous! You've reminded me that I have the wavy hearts dies and I think they may be in the mobile crafting unit! Off to check as soon as I wrap up visits! Like you, I LOVE making Valentine cards (need to ask my sister-in-law if I'm doing a batch for my niece and nephew's daycare buddies and teachers. Sure hoping so...
