Mojo Monday #380

 photo Mojo380pic.jpg

Time for another Mojo Monday sketch :)  This week's sketch is brought to us by Teresa Kline.  Loved the sketch and had great fun playing with some new goodies that I have been itching to try!

My original plan was to use some bluebells on my card (thus the colour combination) but they were too small for the look I was going for so I scrapped that idea and succumbed to using this gorgeous butterfly die by PTI.  I have had it on my wish list forever but no more!  It is mine.  All mine LOL!

Added my favorite word as I am looking forward to 2015 with "joy" in my heart, and since something was missing I used the Sprightly Springs die to add a two vellum leaves under the butterfly for a bit of grounding.  Sorry, but I have no clue about the embossing folder as I had seen it at my neighbours house and liked it so she embossed a few copies for me.

All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples.  Should you wish more details on the Mojo Maker's cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.

On to week two of 2015 and I must say I am much  more rested and ready for this week.  A twelve hour sleep on Friday night and a ten hour one on Saturday along with a very quiet weekend has recharged this introvert's batteries and I'm raring and ready to go.

Thanks for stopping by today!

What's In It?

Paper:  Designer Series Paper, Going Grey, Basic Grey

Accessories:   Sprightly Springs die (A Cut Above by Verve), Butterfly Die (PTI), Silver Half Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

I'm glad to hear you are more rested this week and better into the swing of things. I'm not quite there yet:( I've had some very busy days and have missed a number of challenges so far and can't wait to get back to them.
Your card today is so pretty. I love that big butterfly. What a wonderful addition the Sprightly Sprigs make. They look like soft trails left behind. The "joy" is perfect here too and I love that you've continued to use it past the Christmas season. It should be a year round sentiment shouldn't it? ;)

Thanks for the fun of looking at your pretty card...someday I'll have time to move from looking to playing along again. TFS that you struggled a bit with this card; that is an encouragement. Best of all you had a great save with such a lovely card. The vellum leaves are fantastic, and I am so happy that the butterfly die has moved off your wish list!

It's isn't surprising to see a beautiful butterfly fly on your card when I come around. Love the layers of this card.

Glad you are rested, sometimes sleep just needs to be done. :) All is well over in my world and I hope yours continues to have daily doses of joy!

Swooning, swooning, swooning! Keep succumbing to that stunning butterfly, because you are working magic with it, and bringing joy to all of us who see it! Gorgeous card! Speaking of bringing joy: thank you soooo much for your note and book recommendations. I love the website you suggested, and the book will soon be mine! All mine *grin*! Proper note heading your way once I'm back home (leaving Sunday...already been here a month...and oh, what a month...). Writing to you will keep my spirits lifted!
Hugs~c

That butterfly is been on my wishlist forever too but either it's out-of-stock or my shopping cart is already too full to add one more thing. But this card is going to put it in my cart. How lovely with those vellum sprigs and the soft blues and yellows. LOVE the embossed background and the simple folded corner!
