XOXO I Love you

Verve

This card is one of the cards I made as a Guest Diva for Verve' s Anniversary Release and it uses one of Diva Amber's sketches.

I found some fun Bazzill DP and accented it with a pop of red.  The frame was easy to make as it is the new Rounded Scallop Frame Die.
I even skewed the panel all on my own !!  What is the world coming to LOL!  Think some Diva Dust landed on me as I got to rub shoulders with them behind the scenes for the release.  Bring in the truck load of the stuff I say :)

You can check out the entire release here and take advantage of the specials for the current release!  In addition, the rest of the Verve store is on sale so a great time to stock up on some Verve Stamps!!

As for me, just three more days of swimming lessons and smelling like chlorine.  I must say I totally love swimming and the 45 minutes a day of laps is doing wonders for toning this aging body :)   It is also helping me cope with the stress of our broken water main to the house.   Unfortunately the damage is on our side of the line and not the city's so we have to foot the bill.  Cause:  some piping that was put in that should not have been used - was totally brittle and has no flex, possibly some that had been left out in the sun before being installed.  When they checked the other side of the water meter to see if the same piping was used on that side, unfortunately they found the same type of piping so we decided to replace it as well since everything is already dug up (nice biiiig hole in our driveway), which means the bill gets even larger.  Needless to say, my stamping budget is out the window...hate crooked contractors!!!

On the bright side, summer has finally decided to show it's face here on the West Coast and we are basking in some glorious sunshine and amazing weather and it feels good :)

Have a fabulous day!

Yep, crooked contractors are pretty rotten. I see them all the time on HGTV. Good luck with that expensive, awful project. :( Your card is sporting a skewed panel!! Have you made friends with skewedness??

Yikes...your water issue is still ongoing, but maybe they'll have it fixed really soon! Does that mean you have NO water at all? LOVE this card with the soft colors and pop of red! I still haven't tackled this sketch yet...maybe tonight after work. I had to laugh when I saw you tilted the panel - and DIDN"T NEED TO - lol! :-) Enjoy your gorgeous weather!

oh, love to see this beauty again :) You are a tilting pro now :) Although, I must admit...there is a time to tilt and a time to keep things straight...nice to have options, though :) Double rats about that big hole...as I read your description...I thought, this has Holmes on Holmes written all over it!! I love how he trashes bad contractors. You should hear Tony talk to the ones who want to work on our house...even scares me!! lol Hope the sunshine stays...we've been having it here now too :) First night with dad tonight :)

Great card and I like your rubbing shoulder bit. hee hee
Ouch about the pipe, that is not good. Hopefully homeowners insurance helps with the bill. Sorry to hear that.

Gorgeous papers! I just love what you did with this sketch =) Fabulous card!

That's the biggest load of crap - I can't believe you're having to pay for all that piping now. So sorry to hear that. Good thing you have some fun new Verve to keep you going in the meantime.

Thanks again for your support - WE will rock this half marathon - even with apparently uncooperative weather!

This is one of those cards that makes you shine as a guest diva! I love how the black cardstock makes the colors pop. Love the little heart and the scalloped square!

Enjoy your sunshine! We've had far too much of it, though I can't complain too much because it's been a really mild summer. But all know that will change one school starts back up. The first day of school is notoriously HOT! Ugh.

Love those splashes of red, so eye catching! And is that a skewed panel I see? Without there being one on the sketch? Wow, I guess that Diva dust HAS left an impression on you! You are forever a changed woman! Yay, you!!
