Hugs and Smiles
It's CAS week over at the Verve forum on SCS and I just loved this sketch. Lots of options, that's for sure!
This ribbon which I found in the Michael's ribbon bin a year or so ago was my starting point. Such a classic colour combo.
While editing my picture I noticed my sentiment was a bit squint - sorry about that!! The circle has been remounted and adjusted so all is nice and straight now - promise LOL! I'll replace the picture as soon as I get a chance to take a new one. Until then, you'll just have to pretend it is straight by tipping your head to the side a bit ;)
All the Verve sketches for February are done. Now the waiting game to see if I am the lucky winner of the $100 Verve gift certificate begins. Wouldn't take me long to spend it, that's for sure!
Hugs and smiles to you all :)

Beautiful card.. love the crisp fresh design and wonderful colors.
Marisa, I love how you let the ribbon be the starting point because it is fab. I usually let my dp be my starting point, but I am going to try it with the ribbon. This is so elegant and so great with the red and black. Awesome card! Hugz.
Gorgeous card, this is a brilliant use of these colours together, but most of all, I am in awe at the amazing ribbon you've used!
Beautiful, Marisa! Love your striking colour combo!!
Your card is real pretty. I love black and white with a touch of red! It always makes such a nice card.
LOVE that pop of red with the black and white. This is gorgeous!! xxx
Michaels needs to hire you to promote their ribbon bins! LOL! Love the way you've stamped the Verve flower off the edge of the circle, and that dotty background is fabby.
I've got my head tilted!!! Although that's perfectly unnecessary to tell that this is a beautiful card. :)
Awesome! That is the CASes sketch evah!
Fab job taking that fancy ribbon and weaving a card around it!

Hi Marisa, another very pretty card with a very striking colour combo. Lovely! I would never have noticed the sentiment if you hadn't have said!

Love how you let "the ribbon do the talking".....is that the right expression???? You know I adore these colors and the Swiss dots folder....don't think I'll ever tire of it!!! Brem big flower is perfect with button and butterfly as finishing touch!!!
Those are some great colors! Great take on the sketch.
