Mojo Monday #275

Mojo275 - Marisa

It's the first week of the month, which means it's contest week over on the Mojo Monday blog.  This week's sketch was designed by Julee and provided some fun panels to work with.  I used some of Carta Bella Valentine's Day papers and just started layering LOL!

The sentiment brings back many fond memories of reading the bedtime story with this sentiment in it to my kids when they were young.  We still say it to each other now and then even though they are basically teenagers - love it :)

The embossing folder added some texture on my white panels, the ribbon a wonderful pop of colour, the hearts are the flower in the sketch and the curled edges a little something.

You can check out all the challenge details over on the  Mojo Monday blog and also get a chance to view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples!  Should you wish more details on their cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.

Kids are back to school today and my body isn't sure what hit it as getting up early again was a shock to the system LOL!  But I must say, I sure enjoyed the later nights and sleeping in over the break :)

Have a fabulous day!

Bonjour Marisa,

Ta carte est splendide, malheureusement le lien sur le blog Mojo Monday nous envoie vers une carte du mois de juillet!!!

C'est avec les produits du catalogue printemps que tu l'a faite?

a sweet little love card with some fabulous hits of blue :) My son and I would say this phrase too except he'd say to Planet X and back a million times :)

I wasn't ready for the early mornings last week when my kids headed back to school either, Marisa. I know what you mean! I love all the layers on this pretty card :-)

Very pretty, great sentiment! We have a 2 hour delay for black ice ourselves, but we went back on Thursday last week. :0)

I received a necklace from my sweetie for Valentine's Day last year with this engraved on it so of course this caught my eye right away! My favorite color combo too...just beautiful!

Peace & Luv,

I love how you use the layers and keep your cards so neat! I have trouble thinking beyond 2 layers. That curled corner is such inspiration!

Is it me or are the sketches you're using becoming more elaborate and difficult? This one's a horror, lol! Fabulous take on it Marisa! I love the sentiment.

Yes, 'twas a shock getting up for school this morning!

Isn't this sentiment just the sweetest? I love hearing how it's still special for you and your kids. :)
The pops of turquoise on your card are my favorite, especially that cute little eyelet holding a curled back corner. Beautiful use of the papers, too!
