Since I haven't used my big butterfly die for some time, and was having a few withdrawals after seeing butterflies in our back yard, I decided to pull it out and use it for this sketch :)
My starting point was this Dream Street floral paper from which I pulled the rest of the colours. I used a strip of orange paper and then added some turquoise ribbon for a bit of pop, and called it a card.
The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous cards for your inspiration.

your butterfly reminds me of me flying all day yesterday :) Made it here without a hitch and met up with Lynn for a drink last night :) She just has to work a few hours this morning so I'm hanging out in Starbucks and catching up on email :) Have a wonderful trip to Alberta :)
Hooray for "Only Orange" cardstock! I have plenty and haven't pulled it out in so long. THanks for giving us a dose of happy summery colors, rich in sunshine!

Another beautiful, sunny creation Marisa!!! Love the way you did the butterfly antennae and the colours make me long for warmer days (I am over Winter!!!!).
Love it! Marisa, do you have b'flies that big in your back yard? Wow! It is a beauty and I love the orange and turquoise together.
Love those cheery colors! I think I've missed your big butterfly die, too. We could even cheat and call those dots in the middle of the flowers in the dp polka dots... :)
So glad to have you back as well! Isn't VBS wild and crazy, but totally worth it? I helped out with some friends a week or two ago for a night, and boy-oh-boy was I tired afterward. And that was just one night!
Love the bold graphic design and colors!

Very pretty, Marisa! I bought that dies thinking I'd use it all the time...and there it sits. I think it's an indication that I have too much stuff, eh?
