Mojo Monday #289

Mojo289 Verve photo Mojo289picB.jpg

Welcome back to another Mojo Monday sketch.  This week's sketch is brought to us by Julee, and there is a fun diagonal panel to work with.

Pulled two papers from The Sweetest Thing Recollections pack from Michael's and went to work.  I added just a touch of colour to the cream leaves by using third generation stamping with Sahara Sand and added a button to the ribbon banner for a little something.

You can check out all the challenge details over on the Mojo Monday blog and also get a chance to view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples!  Should you wish more details on their cards, you can also visit their individual blogs noted below.

We had a busy, but very good weekend.  On Friday I go to actually meet my cyber friend, Sue Kohler, from Australia!  We did a bit of shopping at Michael's and then enjoyed a fabulous lunch together.  I am now fully versed in speaking Australian LOL!  Saturday was my son's first spring soccer game, and Saturday night was spent celebrating a friend's birthday.  Sunday, I taught my Sunday School Class, and Sunday afternoon I took a nap to recover from all the weekend activities -- I'm getting old!  Hope your weekend was a good one too.

Thanks for popping by today!

How fun that you got to meet Sue! I'm sure the time flew by in an instant. Lucky girl! It sure sounds like you had an exhausting/yet fun weekend! I would've needed a nap, too!

This is just beautiful, Marisa! Love those layered die cuts. And I totally giggled about now being able to speak Australian! I love listening to accents, but I'm terrible at deciphering them!
